Within the scope of the XVII. World Play Day in Turkey and the June 11 United Nations International Day of Play events, we are honored to announce our online panel organized in memory of Prof. Dr. Ayla Oktay, who continues to guide us with the profound impact she left on the field of early childhood education.
In this year's panel, we will address the theme of "Play as an Executive Function Skill: Board Games," which forms the foundation of children's cognitive, social, and emotional development. Our event, where the contributions of board games to children's strategy development, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills will be discussed from both scientific and practical perspectives, will be held online.
