Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Basic Education, Division of Early Childhood Education held its department meeting on June 1, 2026, to evaluate academic and administrative agendas.
During the meeting, as the end of the academic semester approaches, students' academic processes and planning for the upcoming term were discussed in detail. The prominent agenda items were as follows:

Graduation Excitement: Graduation procedures for senior students, transition processes, and end-of-term preparations were evaluated.

Curriculum and Prerequisite Courses: Views were exchanged on the status of prerequisite courses in the undergraduate program and their impact on students' academic success.

Graduate Education: Feedback was gathered regarding the graduate examination processes, application criteria, and planning for the upcoming semester to clarify the roadmap.
A Sweet Treat from the Workshop to the Faculty Members
The most colorful and enjoyable moments of the meeting took place with the treats crafted by the students. Our undergraduate Early Childhood Education students offered creative and delicious snacks, which they prepared themselves as part of the Life Skills and Innovation Workshop, to the department faculty members.
This meaningful activity, which blends theoretical education with practical life skills, was highly appreciated by our professors. Following the academic evaluations, the meeting concluded in a pleasant conversational atmosphere brought about by this lovely surprise from the students.
