The Orientation and Welcome Meeting, organized by the Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Basic Education, Division of Early Childhood Education for first-year students welcoming the 2026–2027 academic year, was held on Monday, September 28, 2026, with the participation of students across all year levels and faculty members.

The First Step of the Professional Journey: Academic and Cultural Adaptation

The first session of the event took place at 1:00 PM in the A4 Building Conference Hall. In this gathering, attended by division faculty members and students from various year levels, detailed information was shared regarding the significance of the early childhood teaching profession, the division's vision, and university facilities.

Sharing Experiences Through Student Clubs and Workshops

As of 2:00 PM, the activities continued in the A2 Building. In this area where student clubs set up booths, first-year students came together with upper-level peers. Held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the club introductions boosted motivation ahead of the new semester.

We extend a warm welcome to our future early childhood educators who have joined us, and we wish all our students, academic, and administrative staff a successful, productive, and inspiring academic year.
