To the Future with the Marmara Tradition: Our Business Administration Alumni Inspired the Teachers of Tomorrow

The Department of Early Childhood Education at Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education hosted a highly meaningful and inspiring event yesterday. Organized as part of the "Quality-Oriented Dialogues in Early Childhood (KOD)" series, the panel titled "To the Future with the Marmara Tradition: Inspiration from Alumni of Different Faculties to the Teachers of Tomorrow" took place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 16:00 in the Atatürk Faculty of Education, Building A4 Conference Hall.

While the event emphasized our university's deeply rooted history and the "Marmara Tradition" culture, it also brought together the experiences of successful names graduated from different disciplines with future teacher candidates.

The Common Ground of Different Disciplines: Education and Quality

The guest speakers of the panel included our esteemed alumni from Marmara University Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS). Our valuable graduates, who witnessed different eras of our university, were:

  • Ayşe Canan İskit (Faculty of Business Administration, 1975-1979 Graduate)

  • Belgin Canayakın (FEAS, Department of Business Administration, 1986 Graduate)

  • Sevil Üstündağ (FEAS, Department of Business Administration, 1986 Graduate)

The speakers shared the vision, management, and organizational skills they acquired in the business world. Presenting snapshots from their professional lives, our alumni explained the importance of gaining an interdisciplinary perspective to teacher candidates through their own success stories.

The event concluded with a Q&A session with the students and a group photo session.
