On February 18, 2026, at 15:00, the Department of Elementary Education Meeting was held in room A2-Z13. During the meeting, reminders were provided regarding the effective conduct of courses and examinations, information was shared about the forms to be completed for the “Community Service Practices” course, and discussions were held on organizing course content and assessment processes in alignment with learning assurance principles. Additionally, the commission for the Elementary Education Congress was formed. The meeting concluded with the sharing of requests and suggestions.
Furthermore, we congratulate Prof. Dr. Zeliha Nurdan Baysal on her appointment as Chair of the Department of Elementary Education. We also extend our congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülçin Güven, who has assumed the role of Vice Chair of the Early Childhood Education Division, and to Dr. Özgür Şimşek, who has begun serving as Vice Chair of the Primary Education Division. We wish them all success in their new roles.
