"A network of happiness rooted in a tight-knit bond across different countries sharing the exact same culture."

The From Trunk to Screen: Cultural Ties Festival, which we successfully completed on May 7, 2026, was a unique experience blending the theoretical power of science and academia with the joy of the field. As Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Pre-School Education, we experienced the true happiness of building a heartfelt bridge by visiting the MV Kalkandelen School and connecting with the bright children there. While bringing the enchanting shadow plays hidden in the trunks of the past onto the stage, our festival took little hearts on a magical journey through intercultural fairy tales filtered from the shared memory of both nations, and united the centuries-old common cultural heritage of Türkiye and North Macedonia in a single beat with an enthusiastic rhythm workshop, together with the children who are the guarantee of our future.

Our endless gratitude goes to everyone who contributed with their vision and heart to weaving this unique network of happiness.
