As the Department of Early Childhood Education at Marmara University, we celebrated 24 November Teachers’ Day with a special event attended by students from across our faculty.
On this meaningful day, we once again remembered the modern and enlightened educational vision entrusted to us by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who, as our Head Teacher, laid the foundations of our profession. Together, we honored the values that continue to guide our path.
By dedicating this year’s celebration to the memory of Prof. Dr. Ayla Oktay, whose scientific contributions shaped the field of early childhood education and whose influence lives on through the many teachers she trained, we added even greater significance to this special day.
During our music-accompanied gathering, we shared the essence of teaching—its foundation in love, effort, and dedication—along with the profound impact teachers leave on the lives of children and the important role of our profession in society.
We extend our sincere thanks to all students, academics, and contributors who joined us on this meaningful occasion, and we warmly celebrate the 24 November Teachers’ Day of all educators.
