On May 22, 2025, Gülbahar Uysal, Principal of Yıldız Erten Preschool and a distinguished alumna of the Department of Early Childhood Education, met with our students in the faculty’s conference hall.

During her presentation titled “From First Contact to First Grade: The Neurodevelopmental Power of Interaction and Structuring the School Ecosystem for Neurodivergent Children”, Ms. Uysal shared valuable insights into the developmental and educational journey of children with neurodevelopmental differences, drawing from her experiences as a mother, educator, and an administrator committed to inclusive practices. Her reflections, especially through the lens of her son Kağan, illuminated the vital importance of tailored support within educational environments.
